Mary Wurtz a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serves as an 18-211/18-212 Program Specialist for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in Region 4.
She is a 4th generation Idahoan who earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work at Boise State University.
Mary has 11 years of experience working in the behavioral health field working primarily with adults in suicide prevention, crisis response, and inpatient psychiatric treatment.
Mary started her career with the Division of Behavioral Health Spring 2021 as a designated examiner and took the role as Regional Program Specialist Spring 2023. When not at work, Mary loves to spend time with family and her dogs Hazel & Tater.
